FED:More helicopters for flood operation

CANBERRA, Jan 11 AAP - Australian Defence Force personnel are close to completing the
evacuation of an entire town affected by the Queensland flooding.

Black Hawk helicopters have been flying in to the tiny town of Forest Hill, 80km west
of Brisbane, to evacuate residents as nearby Sandy Creek continues to rise.

On Tuesday afternoon, Premier Anna Bligh said about half of the town's population of
250 had been flown out, with the remainder due to be evacuated by the end of the day.
